Classic Dry is a company that gives back to children in the upstate.  Paul Williams, owner, and family host two annual charity events.  Below is an introduction to what the events are.  More information regarding becoming involved in these events is located on the Braylon Poker Run, Golden Strip Toy Run taps to the right.  

 

Braylon Poker Run was founded in 2009, after Paul's brother and his wife, Ted and Annie, bore a little boy with Down Syndrome on July 31st.

This was an adjustment for the entire family since we honestly did not understand what Down's is. After much prayer and consideration, Paul decided to do a Poker Run in Braylon's honor to increase awareness and understanding of Down Syndrome.

 

During our Annual Toy Run, Paul was approached by a mother whose child was diagnosed with Autism. She was impressed with the order and support of the Toy Run and asked Paul to organize a Poker Run to raise awareness of Autism. 

 

100% proceeds benefit Down Syndrome Family Alliance of Greenville and SC Autism Society   

 

Annual Golden Strip Toy Runwas founded in 2004. Paul and wife, Brenda, were informed that a family of five that they attended church with was going through financial difficulty and would be unable to provide Christmas gifts to their three children. Paul and Brenda knew that God was prompting them to assist this family. They decided to take action, Paul and family became Secret Santa for the needy family. It was a great experience for the entire family and sparked passion in their hearts to help needed families at Christmas.  The second Sunday of November is the annual date for this event. 100% toys donated are distributed through Holiday Hope at Redemption World Outreach Center in Greenville.
